There are two kinds of people in the world. Those that love peeps, and those that hate them.
I'm a lover. Usually when I buy a package, I eat the whole thing while I'm still in my car driving home from the supermarket. I've eaten them fresh out of the package, stale, and blown up in the microwave. They are delicious any way for me.
I heard a rumor that my Uncle Steve is also a lover of the peep. Anyone else?

I am a hater of the Peep. Gross. I don't really like marshmallows, though.
YUCK! I am for sure a hater of Peeps! I guess you would have to like marshmallows to eat those things though. I am not a fan!
There is something disgustingly good about having just one of them. (It's a texture thing). Then I remember I don't really love them. But every Easter I eat just one and that seems to be enough.
I am a lover of the marshmallow, but not a lover of shaping them into foul, dipping them in a coat of food coloring & sugar and then adding the commercial strength preservative that keeps them from growing mold for weeks at a time. Not a lover of the Peep.
However, the rumor about my Dad ... true. I remember him hording and hiding them in his "secret drawer" for months after Easter. I'm not sure who he was hiding them from. I only stole the orange slices!
Our dad loves orange slices too! Which he would also hide in a drawer. I would steal those also.

Hi, me again...Okay, what is it with fathers hiding treats in drawers? My dad kept all sorts of treasures in his sock/underwear drawer my entire life (which, by the way, we always found). I thought it was only him and his odd hoarding ways. Apparently this is a men-of-a-certain-generation thing?
I can eat 1 peep per year. Thats all.

All that is true! He is a peeps lover, he does hoard stuff in drawers and he's all mine!!! :>) It's kind of funny that he still hides stuff... like from who!?! No one lives with us anymore... and I have my own stash! I think it's mainly a guy-thing...

I am glad I am not the only one who can eat 12 peeps before I even make it into the driveway. I am also a fan of microwaving them. I think I need to make a trip to the store and get some more.
